On October 21, the Sunday concerts series will present Convivencia, a band that mixes Saracen, Jewish and Christian music. The group Consort Laurentia, will play classical music of the 17th century on November 25. For Quebec's music lovers, Charles Prevost will sing some Gilles Vigneault's song on February 10. A flute concert will be presented to the public on April 14 by the groupe Flûte alors!
The Friday rendez-vous series will start on October 12 with Mamselle, a Mexican songwriter. For lovers of literature, Les contes du mille et une nuits will be narrated by Jihad Darwiche on October 15. Bon Débarras will play Quebec classics with a Rock twist on November 23. The guitar trio Cambria representation will be held on December 7. Mathieu Bellemare will sing stories accompanied by a miniature orchestra on January 25. Queen Ka, will offer Saint-Laurent a Slam performance on March 11. The Ballets Jazz de Montréal will be in Saint-Laurent on May 1 to present Locked up Laura.
Three family shows are scheduled this year, for little ones. La maison des contes, a film motivating children to learn to how read, will be presented on November 17 at the recreation center. L'exposition de la rythmobile will be presented on March 5, 2013. Finally the show by Benoit Archambault, Les Pourquois will explore the magic of children's curiosity on May 25.
For those welling to pay
As part of the series Grands concerts, Symphony Cinema of the Montreal Art council's, will present selected pieces from the cinematographic world on October 23. The Opera Cosi fan tutte will be presented on March 22. This opera is about the story of two odd couples.
For the theater, the play Des souris et des hommes will be played on October 16. This play is produced by the Comédie humaine production, it is about the friendship between two men. Yellow Moon-La ballade de Leila et Lee will address adolescent themes, on February 5. The comedy Les Conjoints which tells the story of two couples and their secrets, will be presented on March 19. Finally, the play Annette that is about a little girl in the coma will be presented on April 16.
