Beginning of the second phase on boulevard Décarie
The second phase of the major revitalization work on boulevard Décarie should begin today.
Scheduled to last approximately one month, the second phase will be carried out on the East side (northbound) of boulevard Décarie, between rue de l’Église and boulevard de la Côte-Vertu.
Businesses and services will remain accessible. The affected sector will be closed to traffic and parking, but that businesses and services will remain accessible at all times.
Vehicular circulation during the work period
During phase 2, drivers will be able to bypass the closed-off sector by travelling on rue Saint-Germain. Special road signs will be installed in the area, informing drivers of the suggested detours.
Parking
Parking will not be permitted in the phase under construction. As such, residents are advised to verify for the special parking notices that will be posted in the area. Modifications to parking zones and times will also be made in certain neighbouring streets while work is in progress.
Collection of garbage and recyclable materials
The collection of garbage and recyclable materials will take place as usual, on scheduled days and at usual places.
Special notice to residents of rue Gohier
In order to facilitate the movement of motorists around the area, rue Gohier should be open to traffic at the intersection with rue Edouard-Laurin starting with Phase 2. (Source: Borough of Saint-Laurent)
