A new Approach to Consulting
The Quebec Liberal Party is leading a major province-wide consultation, and Montreal’s West Island will have the opportunity to participate on Nov. 12 at the Montreal Airport Days Inn (4545 Côte-Vertu West), beginning at 7 p.m.. Quebec Premier and Leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, Jean Charest, created three working groups to travel to all regions of Quebec in preparation for the Party’s next election platform. Interested Residents can participate in two ways: by attending the consultation meeting on Monday, November 12 or through the Quebec Liberal Party’s Web site at

St-Laurent Christmas Baskets 2007
The Paniers de Noël St-Laurent organizing committee is currently in the midst of its campaign for the 2007 edition of the Christmas basket drive. To receive a basket, you must be a resident of St-Laurent and make an appointment for your application to be reviewed by calling 514 855-6110 ext. 4906, no later than November 22 at 4 p.m. to be processed. Christmas Bazaar

Christmas Basket drive
The 2007 Christmas Basket drive edition is on. You can donate non-perishable items and toys, as well as cash contributions. Collection boxes can be found at the Centre des loisirs, Borough Hall, YMCA St-Laurent and in other St-Laurent locations, such as schools, seniors' residences and community organizations. Additional boxes may be installed in other locations upon request. The food drive, overseen by St-Laurent’s Public Works department, will be held until Dec.10. Info: 514 855-6110 # 4864.
