28,000 good reasons to update your contact information for Katimavik’s 30th anniversary
The alumni directory is a database available on Katimavik’s Web site that contains the names of all the people who have participated or worked for the program since 1977, which adds up to 28,000 participants and 3,000 employees. Since your contact information and occupation have probably changed since you were in the program, we invite you to update your profile in the alumni directory!
Here are a few good reasons to update your contact information:

- Touch base with other members of your group – maybe someone’s looking for you!

- Get involved in the activities of current Katimavik groups in your region for the 30th anniversary celebrations.

- Help out Katimavik in your community.

- Receive our e-bulletin and get the latest Katimavik news.

- And much more!

“My group was one of the first to do the Katimavik program in 1977. 30 years later, we managed to get together again with our families on Prince Edward Island and had a fantastic time!” Barry Murray, 1977-1978 participant

“I updated my contact information in the alumni directory, specifying how I’d like to get involved with the Katimavik groups in my region. Thanks to this information, a project coordinator was able to track me down and offered me the chance to give a public relations workshop to some of the groups. I love sharing my knowledge and experience – and meeting the participants brings back a lot of great memories!” Karine Mourot, 2002-2003 participant
Celebrate with us!
What are you waiting for? Nothing could be easier: just update your contact information in the Alumni section of our Web site, at www.katimavik.org.
This way, we’ll keep you informed of all the activities planned in spring of 2008 for Katimavik’s 30th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 99 Canadian communities.
