From outer space to St. Laurent
(P.L.) On April 24, astronaut Dave Williams visited LaurenHill Academy and talked to the students about his experience in outer space. The Beaconsfield-native saw the Earth from up above in two separate occasions: one aboard the shuttle Columbia in 1998 and another on Endeavour last year. He now serves as the director of the medical robotics program at McMaster University in Hamilton. Mr. Williams believes the Canadian space program will play a significant role in the future exploration of Mars.
