Ringuette tournament
The Saint-Laurent Ringuette Association is proud to present the 22nd edition of the Saint-Laurent Ringuette Tournament. The tournament will take place at Raymond Bourque Arena from Nov. 13 to 19. We urge everyone to come out and support the teams representing the borough of Saint-Laurent. This prestigious tournament attracts teams of A and AA calibre from all parts of Quebec. Christmas Calendar
The Musée des Maîtres et Artisans du Québec (615 Sainte-Croix Ave.) will hold a family workshop about Christmas Calendar on Saturday, Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 pm, for parents and their children, aged 3 and up. Community life for Jewish seniors
Beth Ora Seniors invites the public to an afternoon with Freda Rashkoven, educator and vice-president of the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors, who will discuss community life for Jewish seniors. Activities at the legion
The 2006 Poppy Campaign is officially under way! Look for Veterans and members distributing poppies in malls and stores all over Saint-Laurent and make a donation. If you love your freedom, thank a Vet. Activities of the Royal Canadian Legion in Saint-Laurent, located at 4795 Henri Bourassa West, are open to the public. For more information, call 514 336-8790.
German Christmas Bazaar
The Ladies Group of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will hold their annual Christmas bazaar on Nov. 25, from noon to 4 pm at the church located at 1720 Decarie Blvd. Handmade crafts, homemade goods, coffee and cake, Tombola. 50+ Friendship club of Saint-Laurent
The club will feature its annual Christmas dinner (wine included) Dec. 12 at noon in the church hall located at 875 Marcel Laurin. Tickets are $20 for members and $30 for non-members. We nnednew members. We meet every Tuesday at 12:30 pm for cards and bingo. Membership is $8. Tickets for the dinner is available on Tuesdays. All welcome.
