Georgia Redmond, from Whole Brain Systems, will be the invited speaker at the next midday talk to be held at the Saint-Laurent Public Library (1380, de l’Église Street) on Feb. 7, starting at noon, under the theme «Flexing your mental muscles: use it or loose it». The Women’s Association of St-Mark’s Anglican Church (1650 Decelles Street) will be holding a Coffee Party on Wed. Feb. 7 from 10 am until noon. There will be a home baking table, books and treasures. All are welcome.

Several outdoor skating rinks and skating ovals have been opened to skaters in the Borough of Saint-Laurent. As such, 10 skating rinks are now open to the public for pick-up hockey games. The skating ovals in Gohier and Hartenstein parks, as well as the speed-skating oval in parc Saint-Laurent, have also been serviced. The remaining skating ovals will be opened as climate conditions allow.
