1,800 sailors boarded pirates’ island

(S.S.) On February 10, near 1,800 people showed up for the 15th edition of St. Laurent’s Féérie d’hiver held in Gohier Park. Under the “pirate’s island” theme, Jack Sparrows and Elizabeth Swanns of all ages took part in the many activities offered. Horse drawn sleigh rides and hockey games were very popular among adults, while the children preferred the various agility games and of course the hot chocolate and maple taffy. The Axe – Centrale créative group also performed three sets to the delight of the visitors.
