JACQUES P. DUPUIS ANNOUNCES 122 776 $ IN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

“Québec is a recognized world leader in family support policy. Since 2003, our government has increased annual assistance to families by nearly 60% to a current 6.5 billion dollars. Families are a priority for our government and we give great importance to developing solid partnerships with community-based family organisations, including La Maison des Parents Bordeaux-Cartierville and La Maison de la Famille Pierre Bienvenue Noailles. Our actions continue to ensure that Québec remains a paradise for families,” declared Minister Tomassi.

“Our government has set aside more than 16.3 million dollars this year for 267 community-based family organisations. There are valued partners, and together we will make all necessary efforts towards helping improve the quality of life of our families,” added National Assembly Member for Saint-Laurent.

This financial assistance was allocated as part of the Programme de soutien financier à l’action communautaire auprès des familles, in support of the organisation’s over-all mission.
